The 'Cutty Sark Singers' from London will perform musical highlights from the classical English choral tradition – including composers such as Philips, Byrd, Tallis, Gibbons. Howells, Tavener and Britten.
 
The Cutty Sark Singers is a mixed voice choir of 24 singers, based at the historic St Alphege Church in Greenwich, London, where Tallis was organist. Specialising in the music of the great tradition of English cathedrals from the 15th century to the present day, the choir has attracted singers from a wide range of the UK's top choral institutes, including the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and Exeter. For 20 years the choir has toured France, and more recently, Italy in the summer, singing  in numerous concerts in and around Siena, Cortona and Montepulciano. Their conductor Roland Robertson, a professional singer, teacher and organist, trained at King's College, Cambridge and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
