Women leave a Europe ruled by men and turn their roles upside down: they start to lead, to seduce, to court, to choose, to decide, and if necessary, to fight for their rights. This work, by Antonio Salieri and Caterina Mazzolà, took inspiration from Goldoni. The director Matelda Cappelletti presents the opera at the 42nd Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte of Montepulciano together with the Academy of Fine Arts and Conservatory Luigi Cherubini of Florence. The Orchestra Poliziana and the Choir Corale Poliziana will be conducted by Roland Böer.
